Copperwood Kitchen - Light and Bright

This kitchen renovation is a dream come true for a family who loves to cook and entertain. Out went the dark, dated elements, and in came a bright and functional space ideally suited for their needs.

The dark oak cabinets and granite countertops were replaced with lighter finishes, creating a more open and airier feel. Open shelving with lighting was strategically placed to enhance the sense of spaciousness further. The refrigerator was relocated to a more convenient spot, eliminating the need to navigate around the island to access it. The pantry was redesigned to maximize storage and accessibility, featuring roll-out drawers and adjustable shelves.

The small cooktop was replaced with a larger 36" model, perfectly positioned to take advantage of the natural light coming from the window.  A downdraft ventilation system ensures cooking fumes are whisked away efficiently. 

Rev-A-Shelf organizers were added throughout the kitchen, maximizing storage space and keeping everything neatly organized and easily accessible. The oven was lowered for ergonomic use, and the microwave was relocated to the island, freeing up valuable counter space.

An extra-large trash drawer was installed in the island, making it perfect for easy disposal during food preparation.  A single-bowl sink with a new faucet and dual soap dispensers offers ample space for cleaning, while a dedicated paper towel cubby keeps them conveniently close at hand.

Recessed lighting, under-cabinet lighting, glass cabinet lighting, under-shelf lighting, and pendant lighting were all incorporated into the design.  With dimmers on all the fixtures, the homeowner can create the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

This kitchen is no longer just a place to cook; it's a light-filled and inviting space that encourages family bonding and culinary creativity.
