Oak Crest Kitchen - Another Dark Kitchen Sees the Light

This kitchen renovation proves that a dramatic transformation can happen within the existing footprint!  Out went the dark and dated elements, replaced with a fresh, modern design that prioritizes both style and functionality.

The dark countertops and backsplash were replaced with stunning Vicostone Elbert Quartz, a lighter material that reflects light and creates an airy feel. The dated cabinets were replaced with sleek, slab-front white oak cabinets. Gold tab pulls add a touch of modern elegance.

While they kept their existing refrigerator, dishwasher, and cooktop, the double ovens were upgraded to include a warming drawer, a luxurious touch for any home chef.  A new downdraft ventilation system completes the picture. The new double ovens were strategically placed lower, allowing the homeowner to safely reach and use the top oven without strain.

The new cabinetry is a masterclass in functionality.  It offers significantly more storage than before, with everything neatly organized and easily accessible. Remarkably, all this was achieved without changing the layout or footprint of the kitchen. This renovation is a testament to the power of smart design choices and clever storage solutions.
