This bathroom had remained unchanged since the 1970s. The avocado green tub, cultured marble countertops, and linoleum floors, featuring an avocado and rust pattern, reflected a time when dark colors were favored. The homeowner envisioned a brighter and more joyful space to start her day and chose yellow as the color scheme.
The entire space underwent a complete transformation, including the addition of a private water closet. The alcove tub and separate shower were replaced with a freestanding tub and a spacious walk-in shower. Two small closets were merged into a large, shared closet, and separate vanities were combined into one with practical cabinetry. The dark colors were replaced with whites and yellow, accented with a touch of blue. The result is a cheerful and energetic bathroom that perfectly suits the homeowners' preferences!
