This once-ordinary 1990s kitchen, with its dark cabinets and countertops, posed a challenge. The awkward layout made cooking a chore. But with a thoughtful redesign, this space has been completely transformed.
By strategically relocating the ovens and flipping the cooktop, a more efficient and enjoyable workflow was created. This new layout also allowed the incorporation of stylish storage solutions at every turn: by the refrigerator, in the corner, near the cooktop, and beside the sink.
Dark cabinetry was replaced with a lighter, more modern option, while the island retains a warm, period-appropriate stain. The dated countertops and backsplash were swapped out for stunning quartz surfaces, including a waterfall edge on the island for a touch of elegance.
A sleek, single-bowl sink replaced the old double-bowl model. The new gold faucet is not only beautiful but also highly functional with its touchless technology and three unique spray settings.
To enhance the lighting, recessed lights, under-cabinet, and over-cabinet lighting, and a striking new fixture for the breakfast nook were added. A large sliding glass door, replacing the old door and small windows, floods the space with natural light.
This beautifully redesigned kitchen is not only functional but also inviting. It's a space where families and friends can gather and create lasting memories.

The original layout, lacking privacy and storage, has been completely transformed. A dedicated water closet was added, and the tub and shower were strategically relocated to optimize space. The enlarged shower, featuring a versatile two-in-one shower head and frameless glass, provides a luxurious bathing experience. The under-mounted tub, nestled beneath a striking quartz countertop, offers easy access and a sleek, minimalist design.
The vanities, once separate, were combined to create a unified and efficient space. The deep, custom cabinets maximize storage, while the upper shelf, adorned with lighted medicine cabinets, provides ample counter space and illuminates the entire vanity area. The large, interestingly lit skylight was replaced with two modern skylights, allowing natural light to flood the room. The stained-glass windows were removed to accommodate the plumbing changes, and the doors were replaced with sleek, single-panel shaker doors with mirror inserts.
A layered lighting scheme, incorporating recessed lights, lighted mirrors, undercabinet lighting, and a lighted niche, creates a warm and inviting ambiance. By incorporating earthy materials, the client's vision of a stunning, functional, and down-to-earth bathroom has been realized.
